Monkey Spiced Rum

Monkey Spiced Rum is distilled 100% from Caribbean molasses using column stills that allow the blender to draw off a lighter, clean, rum base that is aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for two to three years.
After shooting more than 100 episodes on travelling and drinking between TV shows Three Sheets, Drinking Made Easy, and his latest, Chug, Zane Lamprey has often been riddled with the question of “what is your favorite drink?” Having never been able to truly answer the question, Zane decided instead of picking from the numerous libations he has consumed over the years that he would set out to create his own. Thus the idea for Monkey Rum was born. Zane then spent the next two years conducting extensive research, creating multiple recipes, and tasting the rums (very thoroughly). Eventually, the process led to the creation of two remarkable rums, Zane Lamprey’s Monkey Coconut Rum and Monkey Spiced Rum.
